Had a dream where the setting was somewhat akin to the old Counter-Strike de_dust map. There were some things different about it but that would be the best way to describe it. Basically, there were two sides. I was on one of them. Couldn't exactly call either side the good side or the bad side. Each seemed to have an equally important agenda. Kinda like the feeling in Miyazaki films when you aren't sure exactly who to be rooting for. Anyway, we were being attacked and I was sent to defend the middle passageway. I went over there and peeked around a corner/box/crate. There were two of them on the other side and one of them was this weird guy. He had such a blank stare on his face and kinda just floated along the ground. My teammate was beside me and I decided to go for Mr. Blank Stare.
First, I popped out of hiding and shot a few rounds at him. At this point Mr. Blank Stare started to float across the opening a little faster so he could reach his cover on the other side. So, I pretty much had him in my trap at this point. With the bullets closing in on him on one side I threw a grenade where he would probably be after trying to dodge my bullets. BOOM the grenade went off on the other side. I looked up on the right-hand side of the screen(?) and saw that I had managed to get someone with a grenade. I laughed my ass off cuz I knew my plan was flawless. I high fived my teammate and went back to business.
At this point, I think the objective of my dream was to protect a deck of cards. Primarily booster packs so that the enemy couldn't get them to use it again. Oh yeah, I think somewhere before this I was in a gigantic mech and just wrecking shit on the enemy. They ran away in fear of me muhahahahaha. I dunno when this segment of my dream ended but it was really random. Anyway, back to booster pack defending. The head honcho and his two cronies were coming to come after the booster packs themselves. It was just me and a teammate left against them. We managed to take out one of them but Honcho was too powerful for us to take down. So, we ended up just having to hide off the side of the cliff. He jumped up and down on the bridge to check to see if we were there but we still hung on. My teammate decided to sacrifice himself to drag the boss into the pit. Kinda got really blurry from here.
