///SPIRITUAL PSYCHOLOGY
Interesting way of going down the path of Self-realization/Individuation. There are the more well-known methods of achieving this state. This is definitely a topic to study more, but Jungian interpretations of the spirit/psyche/subconscious just integrates everything I love during some introspection. [two words are pretty much the some above and below. inter/intro. heh. cool] The spirit is the lifeblood of what makes us search for meaning in life. Without our spirit we're nothing but husks in a body. Enlighten your spirit to enlighten your life. It's what causes such a collective unconscious feeling of lostness and analogously, the reason for the Human Condition. [man, i can't split off for a second when i'm blogging high or else i lose all train of thought... >:(] A couple keys to being at peace is to find a method of self-expression to the external world and finding a place in your community/society. Jung believes the path to Individuation relies heavily on working with the anima/mus and integrating the Shadow. [i still have to read more into this. is the Shadow not a persona as well though? this should also link in to what i've named certain Golems within]
The psyche is what I believe to, for the most part, be our auto-pilot self. When we aren't aware and our spirit is more stagnant and just hanging out. It's still there but only the vibes/aura is felt rather than flaring out in interactions. I guess when we achieve final form (RRUUAARRGH!!) we would be continuously giving off intense energy much like a full bloom Sun. But as of right now, for me it'd be a warm Sun that doesn't do harm but is just cozy. I don't really spark any passion or inject powerful energies into others. The best way I do that right now is just giving out giant hugs and smiling when I can.
Another way to see the spirit/psyche is to think of it as spiritually aware as System 2 thinking and the psyche being System 1. S2 is the logical system. It's capable of slower, more analytical methods of interactions. Logical in working towards Individuation.
///JUNG IS BRILLIANT
Carl Jung is just a brilliant ass mfer. New and the types of studies he conducted is just as groundbreaking as any other spiritual leaders of the past. Whilst others see him as the psychologist to coin the terms introvert/extrovert, collect unconscious, anima/mus, etc. it's been super interesting to see how much he delved into the Inner World on such a spiritual level. He used his analytical methods of observing behavior towards introspection towards Individuation. Everyone's different and this is the type of Spiritual Path that I personally connect with the most. Should most definitely be preached some more. Almost all of his findings aren't 'out there.' It always felt odd about reading about frequencies affecting us (maybe it does but music affects me much more. yes music is frequency but one droning frequency is changing nothing for me. give me some downtempo and i'll naturally chill out but play me some Nectar and i'll be hypey af) which is one of the main things in the spiritual community. I know next to no spiritual texts other than the mainstream ones e.g. Bible, Talmud, Quran. I could see how the investigations of Jung into the inner cosmos could be compiled and taught. There is no God but your own God. You are God in a sense and then there is the World to positively influlence and last there are just the laws of the Universe.
All his works are too relevant in today's spiritually lost world. We used to have gods and goddesses to call upon and believe in as methods of sparking constructive thinking within our psyche that we would otherwise be unable to. Either that or believing in gods at least elicited more aware behavior within us of looking for symbols/signs of events/objects that would solve or at least alleviate our psychological(?)/spiritual(?) angst. He puts together the analytical of psychology together with the the spirituality of the Eastern world. I feel one day we will look back and see his texts as being a big component to Western spiritual texts.
Today, most believe in one god, God. Problem is, too many of these people never went on a search for what we called God. They are only able to list off attributes of God but never feel what it is. The search that one goes on is entirely too important and forgotten. I guess it could be akin to the process of individuation. And also the difference between knowing something and being able to regurgitate it compared to understanding the inner workings behind a concept of sorts. [i wonder if this makes sense] It'd be like knowing fish can be caught and understanding why. Knowing. Okay. Sure you know. Understanding why? Now you can go out and catch em yourself. God is Love. [where am i going with this]
