///DEGENERATION
               So, it is currently May 7th, 2014 and I'm currently writing this after watching Alan Watts' video on "What if Money Were No Object?" Not sure why my mind went along the path that it did but it's an interesting thought. I've been lead to believe (and still do) that the internet is the greatest invention ever. Our generation (Generation Y) lived in a peculiar state where we didn't have the internet and were suddenly thrust into having information at our fingertips. We had wonders about the world that we were curious about but the level of effort required to satiate that hunger was probably too large. That being said, once the internet became such a every-day tool, Gen Y was able to appreciate just how great the internet is. I have to a certain extent, but not to its greatest potential. (I could learn so much if I just had the focus to do so, but I don't. Sad face.) I believe that the internet brings the world together, teaches us the culture of other groups outside our immediate vicinity, and allows us to not feel so lonely about the things we do feel. The internet is great, and this next generation should be able to utilize it to the maximum potential because they were brought into the world wired.
                This led me to think about the how Generation Z might simply take the internet for granted. While Gen Y... hmm maybe I'm wrong on this. I'll cut it short instead. Basically Gen Z has had it so woven into their lives that using Instagram, Facebook, whatever social media you desire, has led them to accumulate 'likes' from only their group of friends. However, now that I think about it, when you meet people from other cultures from traveling abroad or through other methods, you add them on social media and stay connected. Most notions of a certain culture being inferior to yours are pretty much squashed because of having met a spirit kin, if you will, across the world. This is all just pure speculation. I have, and the world has, no idea where Gen Z will take us. They could propel humanity and create a new baseline of acceptance (which I believe), or they could simply keep the status quo and keep humanity's baseline the same. Father Time, keep going and we will find out in humanity's next generation of interesting offspring!

///THESIS IDEA
                  Being Told People Will do Their Culture's Negatives Changes People. Does that make sense?
